In 1950, Theodor Jakob imported iconic design from the Bauhaus mouvement and from italian and scandinavian designers. He was a precursor of interior design at the time. Ryan Korban is an incredibly talented young designer, who already at twenty-six, has executed a number of commercial and residential projects. Amongst some of his clients are designers Alexander Wang and Actor James Franco. Ryan describes his personal style as sex, romance and fantasy. That said, his signature look is all about “the revival of a lost romance set within urban settings.” He loves Orchids and the smell of jasmine. His favorite color is Elephant’s Breath by Farrow&Ball. Interior design images serve as the biggest inspiration for me; I promise you, I’d rather look through a home-decor coffee-table book than a fashion runway of the current collection.
Jo Malone London, has created a collection for the house: scented candles, sprays, scented sachets and bath soaps with the two most popular flavors of Blackberry & Bay and Orange Blossom. Elegant packaging is created by artist Michael Angouv who previously created prints for Jean Paul Gaultier, Hugo Boss and Liberty. This luxurious collection will not only fill your home with fragrances, but also will be an original and rare object of decor.
