My Hamburger

An iconic meal in the summer; a delicious hamburger. It takes no longer than 15 minutes of preparation and can be a perfect reason to host a barbecue day at the house. This is a recipe for one hamburger only, but of course you can use it for as many as you wish.

Ingredients: 

Safflower Oil, for grill

Sandwich Breads 2

Ground beef patty 1

Mayonnaise 2 tsp

Ketchup 2 tsp

Tomato 1

Onion 2 large disks

Cheddar Cheese 2 slices

Salt/Pepper

Procedure: 

1. Preheat grill. Brush grates with oil.

2. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Grill for 3 minutes (medium rare.)

3. Grill sandwich breads separately for 3 minutes.

4. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on each bread evenly.

5. Add the meat on top.

6. Add lettuce.

7. Add onion and tomato.

8. Add cheddar cheese.
